Crystal Taylor

Crystal Taylor is an experienced professional in human resources, currently serving as Chief of Staff and Director of Customer Experience at the U.S. Department of Commerce since September 2020, where responsibilities include leading a team of 10 to support a global workforce of over 45,000 and advising senior leadership on workforce management. Prior to this role, Crystal served as Director in the Office of Talent Strategy, as well as a Human Resources Specialist focused on executive personnel programs. Crystal has also worked at the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration in various human resources capacities, providing technical guidance and implementing strategic programs affecting executive staffing and development. Crystal holds a Master of Arts in Public Communications from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Delaware State University.
