Juan Prieto

Juan Prieto, CAIA, has a diverse work experience in the field of alternative investments. Juan was the Head of Alternative Investments at Mutual of Omaha, where they led and managed the portfolio construction and monitoring of alternative investment mandates. Prior to that, they worked as a Vice President at AXIS Capital, where they were responsible for the alternative investments portfolio and presented manager recommendations to senior management. Juan also held various roles at RogersCasey, including Associate Director of Investment Research and Associate in Non-US Equity Research. Throughout their career, Juan has gained expertise in private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and credit strategies.

Juan Prieto, CAIA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Bridgeport from 1997 to 2001. Juan later pursued a Masters degree in Finance from Fairfield University, from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the CAIA Charterholder certification from the CAIA Association in April 2012.
