Ryan Grothouse

Ryan Grothouse is the current Director of Engineering at Mux. Ryan has held this position since December 2020. Prior to their current role, Ryan served as the Director of Content Engineering at Gannett from May 2016 to December 2020. Ryan also held the title of Senior Devops Engineer at Churchill Downs Incorporated from September 2015 to June 2016. From February 2012 to September 2015, Ryan worked as a Senior Technologist for GE, focusing on delivering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) for GE's private cloud. Ryan was also a member of the Cloud/DevOps team and developed much of the Cloud platform built on top of vSphere, Ruby REST services, Github, Jenkins for Continuous Integration and Delivery, RabbitMQ, Docker, Mesosphere and Puppet for configuration management. Prior to their work at GE, Ryan served as a Web Developer at Fondriest Environmental, Inc. from August 2009 to December 2009. Ryan also interned as a Web Developer at NCR Corporation from May 2009 to August 2009 and as a Software Engineer from May 2008 to February 2009.

Ryan Grothouse's educational career consists of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Dayton.
