Shahzad Younas

Shahzad Younas began their career in 2005 as a Vice President - Portfolio & Index Risk Trader and Algorithmic Sales Trader at Morgan Stanley in the Institutional Equities Division. In this role, they were primarily responsible for predicting and trading European Index Rebalances, as well as pricing and trading PT Risk on the desk. Shahzad was also responsible for providing a sales trading service to self trading clients using Algorithmic Engines.

In 2014, Younas founded Muzz (formerly muzmatch), a Muslim dating app with over 6 million members and 200,000 successes.

In 2017, Younas was accepted into Y Combinator's S17 batch.

Shahzad Younas obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from The University of Manchester between 2002 and 2005.
