Kirk Paisley

Kirk Paisley has had a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. Kirk is currently serving as the President of the Construction Specifications Institute Cincinnati Chapter. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Design at Pivotal Housing Partners and was the President and Owner of BDCL Architects. Kirk has also worked as the Director of Design at Miller-Valentine Group and as the Director of the Affordable Housing Studio and Senior Project Manager at M+A Architects. Kirk has been actively involved in various organizations such as the US Green Building Council - Central Ohio Chapter and the Construction Specifications Institute - Columbus Chapter, where they held leadership roles. Kirk's expertise extends to curriculum development and teaching as they were an Adjunct Faculty and Green Program Development Team Member at Columbus State Community College Center for Workforce Development, specializing in green building and construction courses.

Kirk Paisley, AIA, NCARB, CSI, CDT, LEED AP, obtained a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from Lawrence Technological University in 2018. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati in 2002. Kirk completed their high school education at Upper Arlington High School from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications including NCARB Certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in 2018, Registered Architect (Ohio) from the Ohio Architect's Board in 2018, Registered Architect (Wisconsin) from the Wisconsin Department of Safety & Professional Services in 2017, Construction Document Technologist (CDT) from the Construction Specifications Institute in 2009, and LEED Accredited Professional - Building Design + Construction (LEED AP BD+C) from the US Green Building Council in 2006.
