Bonita (ボニータ) brings extensive consumer technology and operational experience. Her career spans over three decades of digital transformation across multiple industries, including executive roles at IBM, DaimlerChrysler, and two entrepreneurial ventures.
Since joining Google in 2006, she has driven the adoption of digital technologies within the C-Suite in the US and globally. Currently, Ms. Stewart serves as Board Partner for Gradient Ventures, Google's early-stage venture fund investing in the future of artificial intelligence. Most recently, she spent the last seven years overseeing partnerships for the largest US publishers across search, news, media/entertainment, commerce, and mobile apps.
She is the co-author of A Blessing: Women of Color Teaming Up to Lead, Empower and Thrive and the 2020 Women of Color in Business Cross-Generational Survey. Ms. Stewart is a director on the Deckers Brands [NYSE:DECK], PagerDuty [NYSE:PD], and Volta Charging [NYSE:VLTA] boards.
She was recognized by Crain's in 2014 as a Women to Watch in Tech. Her civic interests include the New York Women’s Forum board and the American Ballet Theatre Advisory Council for Project RISE.
Ms. Stewart graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Howard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
