Derek Cheng

Derek Cheng is currently an Analyst at Mvnifest since February 2023, following a role as a Business Analyst at Kingston Technology from January 2022 to February 2023, where contributions included Python development to enhance supply chain operations and create financial applications for clients like AWS and Dell. Prior experience includes serving as a Liaison for the Community Affairs Board, aimed at fostering trust between students and residents in Isla Vista, and acting as a Resident Assistant at UCSB Housing, Dining, & Auxiliary Enterprises, facilitating community development for over 600 residents. Derek has also held communications roles within student governance and worked as a Private Tutor, receiving recognition for achievements in academic support. Educational qualifications were obtained from UC Santa Barbara, where studies spanned from 2017 to 2021.
