Patrick S. Parr

Patrick S. Parr serves as the Managing Shareholder of the Tulsa office at McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips. He began is legal career representing Claimants in Workers’ Compensation claims which gives him excellent insight to how Claimant attorneys think and act. Mr. Parr joined the defense side in 2003 and joined MVP in 2013, now representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims.

Mr. Parr has tried hundreds of cases before the Workers’ Compensation Court, the Court of Existing Claims and now the Workers’ Compensation Commission, successfully defending employers and insurance carriers at all levels of trial and appellate courts in Oklahoma. Mr. Parr is also serving his third term on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Self Insured Association. Additionally, he is a frequent speaker on workers’ compensation for clients, industry groups and the bar.

Mr. Parr spent six years in the United States Marine Corps obtaining the rank of Sergeant. He served all over the world and is a veteran of Desert Storm. He enjoys spending time with his kids and his beagle.
