Lynne Chelagat

Lynne Chelagat currently serves as the Senior Credit Risk and Compliance Manager at Mwananchi Credit Limited since April 2024, focusing on ensuring disbursements are completed within 15 minutes of requests. Prior to this role, Lynne worked at Musoni Microfinance Ltd. from October 2016 to September 2024, holding positions as a Credit Administration Officer and a Wealth Creation Officer, where responsibilities included reviewing loan applications, coordinating timely disbursements, leading security and collateral management, and supporting credit risk functions. Lynne also gained practical experience during internships at the National Cereals & Produce Board and Simlaw Seeds Company Ltd. Lynne holds a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness Management and Enterprise Development from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, completed in October 2016.
