Simon Langley Beng Cengmimeche (Hons)

Simon Langley has over 30 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a strong focus on business development and management. Simon is currently serving as the Head of Business Development at MWH Treatment, where they are responsible for driving growth and identifying new opportunities. Prior to this, Simon was the Managing Director at ACWA SERVICES LIMITED from 2020 to 2023. Simon also held the position of Director at SJL North West Limited from 2017 to 2020, where they successfully led the company's operations. Simon has extensive knowledge in the water sector, as demonstrated by their roles as the Operations Director at Aquam from 2016 to 2017 and the Operations Manager at J N Bentley Ltd from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they served as the General Manager at Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions from 2011 to 2014, where they played a key role in developing strategic relationships and driving growth in different sectors. Simon began their career as a Proposals Manager at MWH Treatment in 1990, further enhancing their expertise in business development and project management.

Simon Langley BEng (Hons) CEngMIMechE began their education in 1984 at Siddal Moor. Simon then attended Bury College from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained an Ordinary National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians. Following this, from 1992 to 1994, they studied at the University of Bolton and earned a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, from 1994 to 1998, Simon attended The Manchester Metropolitan University and completed their Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
