Regional Discipline Lead/principal Civil Design Engineer at MWH Treatment

Sugunan Kulasigamany CEng MICE is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in the water and environmental engineering sector. Currently serving as the Regional Discipline Lead and Principal Civil Design Engineer at MWH Treatment since June 2017, Sugunan oversees civil discipline for AMP7 projects and various assignments. Prior roles include Senior Infrastructure Engineer at eight2O, where Sugunan utilized hydraulic models for operational support, and Infrastructure Engineer at Atkins, focusing on impact assessments for large-scale developments. Earlier experience encompasses civil design engineering at Black & Veatch, a graduate position at Mouchel, and engineering roles at Geofirma Soils Engineering and Movi Civil Engineers, all contributing to a solid foundation in civil engineering. Sugunan holds a Master’s degree in Water and Environmental Engineering from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
