Prior to joining MWR as the Chief Marketing Officer, Sonja was a serial entrepreneur and self-taught digital brand and product architect in technology. From Jacksonville, Florida she was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of digital marketing, live production, and technology agency, ShockTheory. With clients such as Ford, American Family Insurance, Burger King, Verizon, The Grammy’s and more, Sonja has over 20 years of experience in delivering results-oriented, technology-focused programs, campaigns and projects. Her success has yield numerous awards including Entrepreneur of the Year by FraserNET, The Atlanta Business League’s Non-Traditional Enterprise of the Year and more. After transitioning her award-winning agency into a digital product and publishing company, Williams sought to disrupt the technology industry with a strategic focus on helping undeserved entrepreneurs launch, grow and sustain their businesses within their community.
