Merlin Moritz

Merlin Moritz has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2019, they worked as a Creative Lead at MX3D. Prior to that, in 2019, they founded their own company, studiomerlinmoritz. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at THIS IS HOLLAND as a Freelance Graphic Designer and later as a Food and Beverage Operations Manager. From 2016 to 2019, they were involved in hospitality roles at The Hospitalitist. In 2018, they worked as an Illustrator for Julia Philipus / Writer and as a Website Developer and Content Creator for Thomas van Dun / Composer. In 2017, they were a Designer and Trendforecaster at Dutch Design Week. Merlin studied Bachelor Food, Media, Interior and Fashion Design at Academie Artemis from 2013 to 2017, during which they also served as a part of the Opleidings Commissie from 2014 to 2016. Merlin worked as a Casestudy/Concept Designer and Trendforecaster at Het Massagehuys from 2016 to 2017. In 2015, they completed an internship at Joris Laarman Lab.

Merlin Moritz has a diverse education history in various fields. In 2008, they started their secondary education at Agnieten College Zwartsluis, where they completed their Voortgezet Onderwijs (pre-university education) in the field of Atheneum by 2011. Moving forward, Merlin pursued their interest in design and fashion. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Academie Artemis Hogeschool and obtained a Bachelor's degree in the areas of Textile (Future), Product & Fashion Design, and Trendforecasting. In 2019, Merlin attended Hat Academy in London, specializing in Millinery, specifically Parisian, Felt, and Straw.

In addition to their formal education, Merlin also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed the CAE Cambridge English program at Oxford House School of English. Merlin also completed the Fotogram program at Fotoacademie in 2015. Furthermore, Merlin acquired the Emergency Response certification from Trigion in 2019.
