Kylie Pinion

Kylie Pinion is a seasoned engineer currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer III at MxV Rail since November 2025. Previously, Kylie worked at Wabtec Corporation from June 2022 to November 2025, holding roles as Lead Control Systems Engineer and a member of the LEAD Engineering Program. During this program, Kylie completed multiple rotations that included positions as a Test Engineer, Digital Advanced Technologies Mechanical Engineer, and Mining Systems Engineer. Kylie started at Wabtec as a Quality Engineer Intern in summer 2021 and also contributed to West Virginia University as a Physics Department Assistant and Biomedical Engineering Research Assistant from July 2019 to January 2021. Kylie earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Systems Engineering at Penn State University, expected to graduate in December 2025.
