Andrea Német

Andrea Nguyen is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in May 2026. As a Software Engineer Intern at USAA from May 2024 to August 2024, Andrea implemented a cloud-based voicemail migration feature that significantly improved workflow efficiency for over 4,500 call agents and developed an AWS Lambda function in Go, automating the transfer of more than 67,500 agent recordings. Additionally, Andrea automated AWS service deployments with Terraform, which reduced operational costs. Previously, as the owner of Lil Crafti’s from October 2020 to May 2024, Andrea successfully managed an e-commerce business specializing in handcrafted crochet products, achieving a 38% growth in sales and earning consistent 5-star reviews from customers.
