Cassie Ormand

Cassie Ormand has extensive experience in human resources and people management. Cassie is currently the Head of People and Culture at My Food Bag since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Plan B Limited from August 2019 to July 2021. Before that, Cassie worked as a Senior HR Business Partner at Goodman Fielder from May 2018 to August 2019. Cassie also had a career break during which they worked as an Independent Consultant at LuxKiwi from November 2017 to May 2018. Cassie's earlier experience includes serving as the Head of Human Resources at Rexam Beverage Can AMEA from August 2013 to March 2017, and as the Acting Head of Human Resources at Rexam Beverage Can Europe & Asia in an interim role from January 2013 to June 2013. Cassie also held the role of Regional Human Resources Director, UK & Ireland at Rexam Beverage Can Europe & Asia from October 2008 to December 2012. Prior to that, Cassie worked at Rexam Plc as the Group Leadership Development Manager from January 2006 to September 2008, and as a Program Manager from April 2003 to January 2006. Cassie began their career as an HR Advisor at East West Consulting K.K. from September 2001 to December 2002.

Cassie Ormand began their education in 1995 at the University of Otago, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese and completed their studies in 2000. In 1995, they also started a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management at the same university, which they completed in 1997. Additionally, Cassie pursued a Master of Business degree in Management from the University of Otago, which they obtained from 1998 to 1999. Later, in 2005, they attended Lancaster University for their Master of Arts degree in Management Learning and Leadership, which they completed in 2007.
