My Green Lab
IlaSri Summitt is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in clinical laboratory sciences and research management. Currently serving as the Sustainability Programs Manager at My Green Lab since September 2022, IlaSri leads initiatives to enhance environmental sustainability within the organization. From July 2012 to September 2022, IlaSri held the position of Clinical Lab Scientist at Navigate BioPharma Services, Inc., where significant contributions included chairing the Green Team, acting as Lab Safety Officer, and overseeing various diagnostic trials. Previous roles include Staff Research Associate II at the Moores Cancer Center, Research Assistant I at The Scripps Research Institute, and a range of research positions across multiple prestigious institutions. IlaSri holds an M.A. in Experimental Psychology with a focus on Biopsychology from UC San Diego and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

My Green Lab is a non-profit dedicated to making laboratories sustainable. They help reduce energy, water, and waste in labs through outreach and education, and by working directly with laboratory supply and equipment manufacturers.
