Alex Melrose

Alex Melrose is the current Principal at My Inhouse Lawyer. Alex has a long and impressive work history, starting as an Associate at Linklaters from September 2005 to February 2009. After that, they became the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Counsel at BG Group from March 2009 to February 2010. From there, they went on to Rosenblatt Solicitors as an Assistant from March 2010 to March 2011. After Rosenblatt Solicitors, they became the Senior Group Legal Counsel - Commercial at Compass Group from March 2011 to April 2016. In April 2016, they left Compass Group to become a Partner, Corporate Counsel - Head of EMEA at Cushman & Wakefield until June 2017. From October 2017 until their current position, they were the Head of Legal and Assistant General Counsel at Selfridges.

Alex Melrose went to the University of Nottingham for their Law with European Law degree and then to the Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe.
