Mickaël Camus

Mickaël Camus has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and computer science. Mickaël is the co-founder and CTO of My Intelligent Machines (MIMs), a software company specializing in artificial intelligence and systems biology. At MIMs, Mickaël developed a software product as a service for life science scientists, allowing them to manage and utilize digital data generated to represent patients.

Prior to MIMs, Mickaël founded and served as CEO of Mimetics Labs, a private research laboratory focused on computer science. Mickaël also founded Daneel, where they worked as the Chief Science Officer, developing a cognitive system with an auto-adaptive mechanism. Additionally, Mickaël worked as the Chief Science Officer at AZZIMOV, where they designed and maintained an auto-adaptive system for an artificial seller.

Mickaël's academic background includes serving as an associate professor at UQAM and a professor/researcher at {Epitech.} Mickaël conducted research in auto-adaptive systems, artificial life, and artificial intelligence. Mickaël also worked as a senior analyst at Isacsoft and served as an expert development engineer and researcher at Systar.

In the early stages of their career, Mickaël worked as a research engineer at Axlog, collaborating with the European Space Agency on satellite constellation simulation. Mickaël also worked at Inexware as a developer, focusing on Palm Pilot and mobile development.

Mickaël Camus obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University between 2003 and 2007. Mickaël'sresearch focused on Auto-Adaptive Systems and Artificial Consciousness. Prior to their Ph.D., Mickaël earned a Master's degree in Intelligent Systems from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 2003. Mickaël completed their undergraduate degree at EPITECH - European Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2002, where they specialized in Information Technology and became an Engineer.
