Tamara Vrooman Lucas has a diverse work experience, starting in 2004 as Sales & Management at Quality Wine & Spirits. Tamara later worked as Founder & Portfolio Manager at The Commonwealth Collective and as Business Development and Marketing Manager at Ankida Ridge Vineyards. In 2022, they became a Founder Member at Parenthood Ventures, an ecosystem for ParentTech startups. Tamara also founded the Mental Health Pledge coalition, which aims to destigmatize and encourage mental healthcare for founders and the startup community. In 2018, they founded My Panda and currently serves as CEO & Founder.

Tamara Vrooman Lucas has a strong educational background. In 1992, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington. Following that, from 1995 to 1998, they attended The University of Georgia and earned their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. This demonstrates their commitment to both understanding human behavior and helping individuals within social contexts. In 2023, they obtained a certification as a Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative Entrepreneur from Invest Atlanta, further showcasing their dedication to entrepreneurship and empowering women in the business world.
