Liz Buchen

Founder & CEO at Trellis

Liz Buchen has had a varied career in the aerospace and agriculture industries. In 2015, they founded Trellis, Inc. to make a difference in the agriculture industry and also began working as a Principal at New Horizons Consulting. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. (SEI) as the Director of the Engineering Economics Group, a Space Systems Engineer, and a Cost Engineering Specialist. From 2006 to 2009, they worked at Gulfstream Aerospace as a Co-op Student and from 2005 to 2006 they were a Student Researcher at NASA Langley Research Center. During their time at NASA Langley, they built a cost spreading model for the Lunar Architecture Team and performed a cost assessment for the Mars Design Reference Mission 3.

Liz Buchen attended Walsingham Academy and later graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering.
