John Pluthero

John Pluthero is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chairman at MyAppConverter LTD since July 2014, Pluthero is also a shareholder at essensys and previously held the position of Chairman. As the founder of abstract critical, Pluthero has contributed to the startup ecosystem, and served on the advisory board and as an investor for CODE from 2012 to 2014. Their prior leadership roles include CEO of Cable & Wireless Worldwide from 2006 to 2010 and CEO at Energis from 2002 to 2006. John Pluthero founded Freeserve, where John served as CEO from 1999 to 2002, and held various operational and finance roles at Dixons Retail from 1994 to 1999. Pluthero began their career in strategy and capital planning for Holiday Inn Worldwide at Bass PLC from 1992 to 1994. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, earned between 1982 and 1985, and attended Colchester Royal Grammar School from 1975 to 1982.
