John Banas

John Banas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John began their career as an attorney at Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges in 1989 and later moved to Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati in 1992. In 1995, they joined Lam Research as an Attorney and Director of Corporate Governance & Legal Affairs. John then worked at SpinCycle, Inc. as a General Counsel from 1998 to 1999. In 1999, Banas became the President, EVP & General Counsel at Rural/Metro Corporation, where they served until 2004. Since 2004, they have been the CEO of myComplianceManager, a company specializing in web applications for governance, compliance, and risk management.

John Banas attended Wilbraham & Monson Academy from 1976 to 1980. John then went on to study at Tufts University from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Soviet Studies. Finally, from 1987 to 1990, John Banas attended Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where they obtained a JD degree.
