Laura Best has an extensive work experience spanning over several organizations within the NHS. Laura started their career in 1981 with the NHS Prescription Pricing Authority as a team member and worked their way up to become a Technical Manager. From 1990 to 1995, they served as the Training and Recruitment Manager at the NHS Prescription Authority. Laura then transitioned to the NHS Prescription Pricing Authority as a Divisional Manager from 1995 to 2003, and later as the North West Area Manager from 2003 to 2006. Laura joined the NHS Business Services Authority in 2006 as the Head of Service for NHS Pensions, where they were responsible for administering a large pension scheme. During their time at the NHS Business Services Authority, they also held the positions of Head of Operations for Pension Reform and Head of Service for NHS Student Bursaries. In 2015, Laura moved to MyCSP Ltd, where they served as the Director of Services Operations and the Head of Client Operations.
