Carlotta Petti, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2020. In 2007, they began as a Post-doctoral Scientist at EnGeneIC Ltd. Carlotta then moved to the Children's Cancer Institute Australia for Medical Research in 2009 as a Research Officer. In 2011, they had two roles, as the Founder and Owner of Happy Fit Pets and as an Environmental Health - work experience at the City of Joondalup. Carlotta then moved to the Telethon Kids Institute as an Academic Services Officer in 2012. In 2013, they were a Bioscience Specialist at Merck Millipore. Carlotta then moved to Johnson & Johnson in 2014 as a Surgical Specialist. In 2016, they were a Nutrigenomics and Nutrition consultant; Health writer at DrCarlottaPetti - Personalised Nutrition. From 2017 to 2020, they were a Scientific Director, Nutrigenomics, Scientific Affairs, Product Development and Commercialisation Manager, and Nutrigenomics Specialist at myDNA. Since 2020, they have been a Scientific Advisory Board Member at Lykon.

Carlotta Petti, PhD obtained their Honours Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Università degli Studi di Firenze between 1997 and 2002. Carlotta then went on to obtain a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori di Milano and Open University London between 2004 and 2007. In 2012, they completed a Postgrad Certificate in Public Health from Curtin University. Finally, in 2016-2017, they completed a PostGradCert in Human Nutrition from Deakin University.
