Peter Chau, MBA

Peter Chau, MBA, has a diverse range of work experience in product management, agile coaching, and project management. Peter currently serves as the Director of Product Management at MyFitnessPal, where they are responsible for developing growth and monetization strategies. Prior to this, they worked at The Weather Channel in various roles, including Product Lead, Senior Product Manager, and Agile Coach. In these positions, they led strategic initiatives, managed digital projects, and transitioned teams to Agile methodologies. Peter also has experience as a Digital Product Manager at The Home Depot and as an Interactive Project Manager at Carlson Marketing Group, where they collaborated with clients and implemented CMS projects. Earlier in their career, Peter worked as a Teacher's Assistant at Emory Goizueta Business School.

Peter Chau earned a BBA degree in Marketing & Finance from Emory University in 2005. Peter then went on to complete their MBA with a focus on Management & Marketing from Emory University's Goizueta Business School in 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Peter obtained certifications as a Cognitive Practitioner, Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner, IBM Agile Achiever, IBM CLM for SAFe, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Certified Scrum Master at various points in time. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as IBM and the Scrum Alliance, with the most recent certification obtained in July 2018.
