Riaz Ahmad

Riaz Ahmad's work experience includes various roles in different companies and organizations. Riaz currently works at MyFloraDNA Inc. as the Director of R&D, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they were the Laboratory Manager at MyFloraDNA Inc. from October 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining MyFloraDNA Inc., Riaz worked as an Agriculture Inspector at the California Department of Food and Agriculture from April 2021 to October 2021.

Riaz also has entrepreneurial experience, having worked as an Entrepreneur at Retail Business Services from February 2011 to January 2019.

In terms of research experience, Riaz worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of California, Davis from February 2009 to November 2010. Prior to this, they held the position of Staff Research Associate and Post Graduate Research Associate at the same institution from March 2004 to September 2007, and from August 2000 to February 2004, respectively.

Earlier in their career, Riaz served as a Fulbright Pre Doctoral Scholar at the University of California, Davis from August 1999 to June 2000. Riaz also worked as a Research Officer at the Agriculture Research System from January 1991 to June 1999.

Riaz Ahmad obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar. Riaz completed this program from 1999 to 2008.
