Gabi Covaci

Gabi Covaci has extensive work experience in various roles. Gabi worked for MyGov.us as a Product Specs Writer and Business Analyst starting in November 2018. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2018, they worked at [e-spres-oh] as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for multiple projects, including MyGov as a business technical analyst and BetFlow as a SM/PM for the development team. Additionally, they worked at 9Global, Inc. from 2012 to 2015, first as a Software Team Lead and later as an Email Marketing Programs Lead. Before that, from 2006 to 2012, they worked at berg COMPUTERS as a Project Manager, and also at SAF AG where they led an engineering team as an external partner. Gabi also has experience as a freelancer for software development, working for various companies from Austria, the U.S., and Romania from 2001 to 2006.

Gabi Covaci holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the West University of Timisoara in Romania, which they obtained between 1991 and 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Physics at the University of Oradea in Romania, completing it in 1997. Prior to their university education, Gabi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Traian Vuia Highschool in Oradea, Romania, which they accomplished from 1988 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Gabi Covaci has also attained two certifications. In May 2017, they obtained a certification in "Types of Conflict" from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, in November 2009, they became a Certified Scrum Master through training provided by the Scrum Alliance, with instruction by trainer Boris Gloger in Frankfurt, Germany.
