Jennifer Shoemaker, PHR has over 15 years of Human Resources experience. Jennifer began their career in 2006 as a Human Resources Generalist at OfficeMax, where they supported the largest distribution center plus 3 additional DCs in 3 different states. Jennifer was responsible for worker's compensation management, including 3rd party comp carrier oversight, and provided recommendations for case settlements and fostered a strong return to work program.
In 2012, Jennifer moved to Lord & Taylor as a Human Resources Manager, where they oversaw the HR department of 4 team members and managed HR for the distribution center, e-commerce, call center, design and photo studio and many support departments. Jennifer also supervised employee payroll processing.
In 2016, Jennifer joined Web.com as a Human Resources Manager, where they led and provided direction for all human resources matters and managed a team of direct reports in multiple locations. Jennifer also supervised procedures related to FMLA / ADA claims management and compliance.
In 2018, Jennifer moved to AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. as a Human Resources Manager - Site HR Leader, where they led up to 6 HR direct reports. Jennifer developed, drove, and guided the employee life cycle, including recruiting / sourcing, onboarding, training and development, performance management, benefits, compensation, and employee relations. Jennifer also provided updates on HR policy changes to employees to satisfy compliance and state laws.
Most recently, Jennifer joined myHR Partner, Inc. as a Human Resources Manager in 2021.
Jennifer Shoemaker, PHR, obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in March 2021. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Wilkes University and an Associate's degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Luzerne County Community College.
