Bethany Swartwood has over 14 years of experience in tax, accounting, and business law. Bethany is currently the Head of Tax and Business Law at Mylance, where they provide consultations and offers tax services to freelancers and self-employed individuals. Prior to their current role, Bethany worked as a Partner at Tax Point Partners, where they provided tax, accounting, and advisory services. Bethany also served as the Head of Member Services at Collective and as a Director of Tax, Accounting & Corporate Legal at VISTRA. Bethany has held leadership positions at Kingston Smith Barlevi, EY, Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG US, where they managed and provided tax compliance and planning services for clients in various industries, including media, entertainment, energy, and finance. Bethany specializes in global tax planning and compliance, individual expat taxation, and international assignment services. Overall, Bethany has a strong background in tax and business law, with expertise in serving the needs of diverse clients and providing comprehensive tax solutions.

Bethany Swartwood attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a LLB Honours degree in Law. Following their time at LSE, they went on to pursue a Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs, completing their degree in Accounting & Tax from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their academic qualifications, Bethany has also acquired certifications as a Chartered Accountant from ICAS and as an Enrolled Agent from the Internal Revenue Service.
