Karen Cheung

Karen Cheung is a Software Engineer with experience in developing SaaS products and enhancing user engagement through innovative frontend features. Currently working at myLaurel™ since July 2024, Karen previously contributed to Shippabo, where notable achievements included leading a 126% increase in user engagement through data-driven insights in freight and logistics. Prior to that, Karen developed an open-source developer tool at SvelteStorm and has a background in pharmacy, having worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at Optum and as a Pharmacist at RITE AID. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy from UC San Diego, an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program from Codesmith, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacological Chemistry from UC San Diego.
