April Makowski

April Makowski has worked in the insurance industry since 1995, starting as an Outside Sales Representative at Sally Beauty. April then moved to CNA Insurance as a Small Commercial Lines Underwriter in 1995, followed by a role as an Ultra High Net Worth Personal Lines Underwriter at Chubb Insurance in 1999. In 2006, April became a Commercial & Personal Lines Producer at Universal Underwriters Group, and in 2007, they were an Boiler & Machinery / Equipment Breakdown Underwriter at Travelers. April then moved to Farmers Insurance as an Account Executive in 2018, and is currently a Senior Commercial Lines Trainer at Mylo, a Lockton Company, since 2019.

April Makowski has obtained two certifications from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. The first certification is a Certified Risk Manager (CRM), which focuses on Principles of Risk Management, Analysis of Risk, and Financing of Risk. The second certification is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), which focuses on Commercial Property, Commercial Liability, Personal Lines, Life & Health, and Agency Management.
