Sabine Straßburg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sabine began their career as a PR & Marketing Manager at BMW Niederlassung Leipzig from 1999-2000, and later worked as a PR & Marketing Manager at Hotel Intercontental Leipzig (now Westin) in 2001. Sabine then served as the Veranstaltungskoordinatorin at Zeitgeschichtliches Forum Leipzig from 2002-2004, where they focused on exploring the history of German division and reunification.
In 2005, they joined Hugin as a Vorstandsassistentin / Projektmanagerin and stayed there until 2009. During their time at Hugin, they gained experience in executive assistance and project management. Simultaneously, Sabine also started working as a Key-Account Managerin at Mynewsdesk Deutschland in 2009.
From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Projektmanagerin Marketing / Sendermanagerin at ddp direct GmbH (NHST media group), developing skills in marketing and project management. Sabine then joined HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management as a Projektkoordinatorin "Innovationsforum Bio-Logistik" in 2011, where they coordinated projects related to the field of bio-logistics.
Most recently, Sabine has taken on the role of a Mentorin at MentorMe starting from January 2022. Sabine will use their expertise and experience to guide and support individuals. Overall, Sabine Straßburg has a strong background in marketing, project management, and event coordination, with a particular interest in German history and the challenges of reunification.
Sabine Straßburg (she/her) attended Leipzig University from 1996 to 2003, where they earned a Magistra degree in Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaften and Anglistik (Communication and Media Studies & English). Additionally, in June 2023, they obtained a Partner Manager Certification from PartnerXperience.
