Eric Kamara

Eric Kamara possesses extensive experience in technology management and consulting across various organizations. Currently serving as General Manager - Platform Services at MYOB since July 2021, Eric has also held roles as Head of Platform Services and Technical Program Manager. Prior experience includes positions at ThoughtWorks, where Eric worked as a Principal Consultant and Lead Consultant from November 2017 to June 2021, and serving as CTO at The Cloud Project, a Google for Work partner in Uganda. Eric's career began in construction project supervision as a Project Engineer at Sampar Ltd, later transitioning into IT management at True African (U) Ltd as Acting IT Manager. Eric's academic background includes a BSc in Civil Engineering from Makerere University and an Advanced Certificate in Internet Governance and ICT Policy from DiploFoundation.
