Andrew Harlan has a diverse work experience, spanning over a decade. Andrew started their career as a Life Management Intern at GE in 2005, followed by a Robotics Internship at iRobot in 2006. Andrew then joined Vecna in 2007, where they worked as a Mechanical Engineer and later became the Director of Mechanical Engineering. At Vecna, they were responsible for designing and testing robotic systems, developing hardware interfaces, and supervising a team of engineers. In 2015, Andrew joined Myomo, Inc. as a Principal Mechanical Engineer and was later promoted to Director of Mechanical Engineering. At Myomo, they played a crucial role in designing and integrating their suite of powered myoelectric exoskeletons, working on various components and conducting testing to validate performance.
Andrew Harlan attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2007. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
