Helen Harlan

Helen Harlan is a Senior Project Manager at Myomo, Inc., focusing on the development of advanced MyoPro powered myoelectric exoskeletons since April 2023. Previously, at the MIT Edgerton Center, Harlan served as the STEAM Integration Coordinator, working closely with a local vocational high school to enhance curriculum strategies and engage students in hands-on projects. Harlan's teaching experience includes roles at East Boston High School, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, and TechBoston Academy, where a strong emphasis on pedagogy and project-based learning was established. Harlan also possesses a background in research from roles at Procter & Gamble/Gillette and Essential, alongside contributions to WGBH's engineering television series. Academic credentials include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching from Tufts University.
