Mia Raja

Mia Raja is currently the Editor in Chief at The Leeds Tab, a position held since May 2024, where management of a writing team and production of articles are key responsibilities. Simultaneously, Mia has been a Tutor at MyPocketSkill since January 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Writer and translator for 24/7 Valencia from September 2023 to July 2024, where articles highlighted local events and culture, and acting as a Leeds Study Abroad Ambassador for the University of Leeds during the same period, promoting study abroad opportunities and providing mentoring to students. Previously, Mia held the role of Features Editor at The Tab from April 2022 to July 2023 and completed an internship there, developing skills in writing and editing. Additional experience includes working as an Optical Assistant at Specsavers for a brief period in 2021. Mia is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Leeds and a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies at the University of Valencia, with a strong educational background in English from St Albans High School For Girls.
