Max Berggren

Max Berggren has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Max currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at Myrspoven AB since January 2022. Before that, they founded AO News, a Robot News Agency, in January 2021, where they collected and translated news push notifications from around the world. Prior to that, Max founded Prognosis, an organization that developed software to analyze news texts for gender representation, which was widely used by major news outlets in Nordic countries. From September 2015 to December 2021, Max worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Dagens Nyheter. Max also worked as a Data Scientist at Gavagai from June 2014 to September 2016. In the early years of their career, Max worked as a Retouch Artist & Partner at Mirage Imaging from February 2009 to August 2011 and as a Retouch Artist & Web Developer at Delling Group from January 2007 to February 2009. Max's first entrepreneurial venture was Geeloo, a social network that they founded, coded, and designed. It had over 30,000 accounts and even facilitated marriages and children through relationships formed on the platform. Max's tenure at Geeloo lasted from 1999 to 2008.

Max Berggren completed their education history with a MSc in Enviromental and Renewable Energy Engineering Programme from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Max attended this program from 2011 to 2016, focusing on Sustainable Energy Technology. Prior to that, Max studied Commercial and feature photography at Gamleby School of Photography from 2005 to 2007, where they did not receive a specific degree.
