Stephen Karakasidis

Stephen Karakasidis has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and operations. Stephen is currently serving as the Executive Director of Quality Assurance at Myrtelle since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of QC Operations at the Gene Therapy Program of the University of Pennsylvania from March 2021 to August 2021.

From November 2016 to March 2021, Stephen worked at WuXi AppTec, where they held the positions of Associate Director of Virology Operations and Manager of Virology Operations.

Stephen'searlier experience includes working at Charles River Laboratories, where they held the roles of Scientist I from May 2011 to January 2015 and Associate Scientist from January 2008 to May 2011.

Stephen Karakasidis completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at Guilford College from 1996 to 2000. Stephen then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Georgetown University from 2001 to 2002.
