Andre S. Fialho

Andre S. Fialho has a diverse background in the healthcare IT industry. Andre has worked at MySense.ai as a Product Lead since 2023. Prior to that, they co-founded Pact Care in 2018.

From 2013 to 2018, Andre worked at Philips in various roles. Andre was the Director of Population Health Analyst in Group Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions with responsibilities such as developing expertise in digital health/population health management and generating insightful analyses for key executives. Andre also worked as a Senior Manager in Market Analysis and Forecasting for Healthcare IT.

Before joining Philips, Andre worked as a Postdoctoral Research Analyst at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they led a team to model and analyze the global market for clinical decision support systems. Andre also developed a business plan and validated it by contacting major healthcare providers.

Andre gained experience in healthcare IT as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard Medical School and as a Summer Intern at Queen's University Belfast, where they developed an informatics tool for biological network visualization and participated in group discussions on product commercialization.

Andre S. Fialho began their education in 2003 at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering until 2008. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in the Erasmus Programme at Czech Technical University in Prague during the academic year 2006-2007. Following their completion of the BSc and MS degrees, Andre went on to pursue a PhD in Bioengineering - Healthcare IT at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Instituto Superior Técnico (MIT-Portugal Program) from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they were selected as a Visiting PhD Student in the field of Bioengineering - Healthcare IT at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012.
