Yvan Buggy has work experience as a Full Stack Engineer at Mystic since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate at Trinity College Dublin from May 2016 to August 2016. yvan also had internships at LAPP - Laboratoire de Physique des Particules d’Annecy le Vieux and CERN in April 2007, where they gained valuable experience.

Yvan Buggy started their education in 2007 at Heriot-Watt University, where they earned a Master's Degree in Physics in 2012. yvan continued their studies at the same university, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from 2012 to 2018.
