Borja Vaïllo

Borja Vaïllo is a seasoned professional in site reliability engineering and infrastructure management, with extensive experience in administering high-availability and scalable production systems primarily on AWS. Currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Mytheresa since October 2019, Borja successfully completed the transition of the e-commerce platform from a monolithic LAMP stack to a Kubernetes (AWS EKS) environment. Previous roles include Head of Infrastructure at paguro, Site Reliability Engineer at Rakuten TV, and a variety of positions focusing on system administration and engineering in organizations such as gnuine, Netcentric, and Booking.com. Borja holds a Bachelor's degree in statistics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
