Melanie Minor (Maupin) has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Melanie is currently working at Mythic as a Creative Resources & Project Manager, where they manage projects and resources. Prior to that, they worked as a Producer and Project Manager at Told by Shift, a boutique creative agency, where they handled various responsibilities including producer, account manager, procurement, and project manager. Melanie also established and nurtured client relationships.

Melanie has previous experience as an Associate Producer at Warner Bros. Entertainment and as the Executive Assistant to the Co-Presidents of VR at STX Entertainment. In these roles, they gained expertise in virtual reality production and coordinating production logistics such as schedules, budgets, and talent management.

Before their corporate roles, Melanie worked as a Freelance Filmmaker, primarily serving as a production coordinator or on the AD team for commercials, photo shoots, feature films, episodic television, and music videos. Melanie also had an internship at Ed Rudolph Photography.

Throughout their career, Melanie has developed skills in project management, production logistics, and communication. Melanie has experience in coordinating internal functions, managing schedules and budgets, creating and overseeing project timelines, and coordinating various events. Melanie is also proficient in using hardware and software necessary for production.

Melanie Minor (Maupin) pursued their education from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Film from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
