Troy Whitlock

Troy Whitlock is an accomplished game design executive with extensive experience across multiple leading companies in the gaming industry. Currently serving as VP of Design at Mythical Games, Troy previously held key roles at Jam City as Vice President of Game Design and Studio Creative Director, overseeing design teams for popular titles such as Panda Pop and Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery. Troy's background also includes positions as Creative Director at Anki, where leadership focused on AI and robotics, and Vice President for Creative Operations at Disney, driving mobile game strategy. Additional roles include Chief Creative Officer at Breaktime Studios, Creative Director at Playdom, and Creative Director at Electronic Arts, complemented by a strong foundation in design and project leadership dating back to the late 1990s. Troy holds a Master’s degree in Communications from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
