Dave Stevens

Dave Stevens has over 15 years of diverse work experience in software engineering, engineering management, and web development. Dave is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Mytra since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Rivian from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they served as an Engineering Manager at Slack, where they successfully led the engineering teams in the development of Workflow Automation and significantly grew the impact of their teams on Slack's Developer Platform.

Before joining Slack, Dave worked at Walmart Labs from 2015 to 2019, first as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they managed the Developer Experience Tools team, and later as a Principal Software Engineer. At Walmart Labs, they introduced a robust on-call support program and made significant contributions to the Electrode platform in React.

Dave also has experience working at Zappos Family of Companies, where they held various roles including Engineering Manager, Mobile Web, and Mobile Web Developer. Dave played a key role in improving the mobile website experience and implementing an efficient Application Security Program.

Earlier in their career, Dave worked as a Web Developer and Digital Marketing Executive at ESPN and Microsoft respectively, where they gained experience in web development and digital marketing.
