Nigel Marcussen

Nigel Marcussen currently serves as the VP of Scaling at Mytra, where responsibilities include scaling the hardware stack to support the robot revolution. Nigel has extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles, including positions as Sr Director of Manufacturing Engineering and Sr Director of Building Infrastructure Design at Rivian, where key achievements involved enhancing production efficiency and building a robust engineering team. Prior to Rivian, Nigel was the Head of Engineering at Google R+D Lab for the Built Environment, focusing on innovative building designs, and held multiple leadership roles at WeWork, where efforts centered on building automation and engineering. Nigel holds a Master of Studies in Interdisciplinary Design in the Built Environment from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
