Tasha Lai

Tasha Lai has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Tasha currently works at Carro as a Talent Acquisition (Team Lead) in the People and Culture department. In this role, they collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and requirements.

Prior to Carro, Tasha worked as a Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist at TMF Group, where they developed and maintained strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Tasha also has experience as a Consultant (Researcher) at PERSOLKELLY Singapore, where they worked on Information Technology search assignments and understood clients' requirements.

Tasha has worked as an Education Counselor at both Inquota Education Services (IES) Sdn Bhd and World Education Placement Services. In these roles, they developed and implemented marketing strategies to recruit students for tertiary education.

Before their career in talent acquisition and education counseling, Tasha worked as a Special Needs Tutor (Shadow Aide) in a private practice, where they provided support to a child at school and therapy sessions.

Tasha also has experience as a Scholar Guide at Metropolitan Corridor Sdn Bhd, where they studied and analyzed scholars' results to identify core issues and problems.

Tasha began their professional journey as an intern at Malaysian Care, where they conducted one-to-one sessions with children with special needs.

Tasha Lai started their education at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in 2010, where they pursued a Foundation in Arts degree. Tasha then continued their studies at UTAR from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained their Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) degree with a major in Psychology. Tasha'sfocus within the field of Psychology was in Clinical, Counseling, and Applied Psychology.
