Alessandra Canella

Alessandra Canella is an accomplished professional in product design and service design, currently serving as the Director of Product Design at MyTutor.co.uk since May 2024. As the Founder and Editor of Service Design-in’, Alessandra aims to mainstream in-house service design practices through published articles. Co-founding Mega Mentor in May 2020, Alessandra has facilitated the registration of over 250 mentors to support others. Alessandra previously held significant roles at Cazoo as Head of UX, overseeing user experience for a large user base, and at FutureGov, where substantial projects in service design were launched. Additionally, Alessandra has contributed to academia as a visiting professor at Politecnico di Milano, sharing expertise on service design applications in various contexts. Educational credentials include a degree in Product Service System Design from Politecnico di Milano, a degree in Design and Innovation from Tongji University, and a degree in Furniture Design from Politecnico di Milano.
