Brenton Naicker

Brenton Naicker is a seasoned professional in the blockchain and fintech sectors, currently serving as Principal & Head of Growth for Africa at CV VC since February 2022, where the focus is on supporting early-stage startups leveraging blockchain technology. In addition, Brenton advises Mzansi Web3 - ICP HUB South Africa to enhance Web3 innovation in the region. Brenton has a rich background as a founder and co-founder of various ventures, including BlockAlpha and Dark Wall Ventures, and has held significant roles at Binance, where responsibilities included expanding operations and partnerships across Africa. Brenton's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics from IIE Varsity College and a Business Science degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Cape Town. Additionally, Brenton has contributed to the academic community as a lecturer on blockchain concepts.
