Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Matthew started their career at Berwin & Berwin Ltd. as a Management Accountant from an unknown start date to 2007. Matthew then joined Marshalls plc as a Management Accountant and later became a Commercial Accountant. In 2012, they worked at Wilko as a Commercial Accountant in both the Supply Chain and Online & Services departments. From 2013 to 2017, they held various positions at Asda, including Finance Manager for Online Grocery and Senior Finance Manager for International eCommerce. Matthew then joined Co-op in 2017 as a Senior Finance Business Partner, later becoming a Senior Hub Manager in Retail Operations Finance and eventually a Regional Manager. In 2022, they transitioned to N Brown Group as the Head of Finance Strategy and is currently the Head of Retail Finance starting from January 2023.

Matthew Johnson attended the University of Leeds from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a BA (hons) degree in Accounting & Finance. In addition, they have also become CIMA Qualified in Accounting, but no specific start or end year was provided for this qualification.
